A fund for financing established green projects

The ASN Groenprojectenfonds invests in projects, which have received an official green certificate (groenverklaring) from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency RVO. Through these investments, the fund aims to contribute to a more sustainable world. 

In practice, this means that the fund may invest in renewable energy projects financed by FMO. The fund may then decide to participate in the financing of the sustainable energy project if the required certificate is obtained, The fund may allocated up to 10% which may be invested in a number of projects between 2017 and 2019. The Fund Manager for the fund is ASN Beleggingsinstellingen Beheer B.V. and FMO Investment Manager acts as investment advisor for FMO’s investments suitable for the fund.  

About the RVO

RVO stands for Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland and translates as the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl). It encourages entrepreneurs in sustainable, agrarian, innovative and international business. It helps with grants, finding business partners, know-how and compliance with laws and regulations. Its aim is to improve opportunities for entrepreneurs and strengthen their position.
