Euromoney - The Netherlands conference

Euromoney - The Netherlands conference

Wednesday 09 March 2016

Join us in Amsterdam this March for the first Euromoney Netherlands Conference. Can the export-driven economy survive an emerging market slowdown and overall sluggish global growth? And how will European and international financial regulatory changes impact the strength of the Netherlands’ financial centre? Gather with senior policymakers, issuers and institutional investors to discuss the important issues, challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

The conference aims to highlight the robustness of the Dutch financial system and its resilience after the Eurozone crisis amidst a global low growth environment. An important theme running throughout the event will be sustainable and responsible finance and investment. Just some of the topics for discussion include:

  • The global low rates, low growth environment: opportunities and risks for the Netherlands
  • Regulatory change: the impact on Dutch banks and financial markets, and how they adapt
  • The growth of the Dutch covered bond market
  • The financing of Dutch industry: Efficient funding of a global reach
  • Maximising the Dutch investor base and its privileged status
  • Capital Markets Union and the Dutch financial centre
  • Capitalising on the trend for going ‘green’ as pioneers of sustainability in finance
  • Dutch public sector issuers and the ECB purchase programme

Yvonne Bakkum, our Managing Director will join the panel "Dutch Pensions and Investment Management: Crunch Time 2016".
